This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit midisposal.org (the "Site") or request our junk removal, hauling, or disposal services (collectively, the "Services").
By using the Site or the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the Services.

- Contact details: name, email address, phone number, and service address when you request a quote, book a job, or contact us.
- Job details: description and photos of items to be removed, preferred timing, and any access or safety notes you share.
- Payment information: processed by our third-party payment processors. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Communications: messages, call recordings (where permitted by law and disclosed), and correspondence you send us.
b. Information Collected Automatically
- Device & usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps.
- Cookies & similar technologies: used to operate the Site, remember preferences, measure performance, and support analytics.
- Location data: approximate location derived from IP or, with permission, more precise location when needed to dispatch or route crews.
c. Information From Third Parties
We may receive information from booking partners, lead generators, advertising platforms, review platforms, and business partners that refer customers to us.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide, schedule, route, and complete requested Services.
- Respond to inquiries, quotes, and support requests.
- Process payments, invoices, and receipts.
- Send transactional messages (booking confirmations, arrival windows, updates) by email, phone, or SMS.
- Send marketing communications where permitted — you can opt out at any time.
- Improve the Site and Services, including analytics, troubleshooting, and product development.

3. Third-Party Partners & Service Providers
Michigan Disposal and Junk Removal partners with independent third-party service providers, contractors, haulers, and technology vendors to help facilitate our operations. These partners may include, without limitation:
- Hauling & labor partners: independently owned hauling companies, crews, and subcontractors who perform pickups, loading, and transport on our behalf.
- Disposal, recycling, and donation facilities: licensed landfills, transfer stations, recyclers, scrap yards, and charitable organizations that receive the items we haul.
- Booking & dispatch platforms: including Trashed and similar marketplaces, which we use to route, schedule, and manage jobs.
- Payment processors: to securely charge cards and issue refunds.
- Communication providers: email, SMS, and call infrastructure used to reach customers.
- Analytics, hosting, and advertising providers: including cloud hosting, error monitoring, traffic analytics, and ad platforms that help us operate and promote the Services.
We share only the information these partners need to perform their role. They are contractually required or otherwise expected to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we authorize. We are not responsible for the independent practices of third parties that we do not control, but we select partners with reasonable care.
4. Other Disclosures
- Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- Legal & safety: to comply with applicable law, lawful requests, court orders, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MIDisposal, our customers, crews, or others.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Certain analytics and advertising cookies may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" under some state privacy laws; see "Your Choices" below.
5. Your Choices
- Marketing opt-out: unsubscribe via the link in any marketing email, or reply STOP to marketing SMS messages.
- Cookies: most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. Doing so may affect Site functionality.
- Do Not Track: the Site does not currently respond to DNT signals, as there is no industry standard.
- Access, correction, deletion: residents of certain states (including California) have rights to access, correct, delete, or port their personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing. 6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
8. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International Users
The Services are intended for users in the United States, primarily Michigan. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data protection rules than your country.
